We totally support your campaign for Fair Trade, which has been promoted in countries like Britain for a long time. It's good to hear that Taiwan also makes this move to let people know about the stories behind the sources of coffee production.

However, we are also deeply concerned about the symbol you proposed with a black person on it. Actually, this can be considered as racist from foreigners' point of view. Why do we need to use such a way which might risk being considered as racist? The little black man looks cute, but there are also many producers who's skin colour is other than being black.

The skin colour of the producers should not be some focus on the symbol of the campaign. In Britain they simply put 'Fair Trade' on the product. The little black person can be replaced by coffee beans, for example. We think that to avoid being considered as insentitive to the issue of racism, it's better you modify the symbol on this page.

We wish you success on this campaign!
